Hendlex Ceramic Coating Set for PPF & Vinyl Films, 40ml

HENDLEX PPF & Vinyl is a nano-ceramic coating specially designed for cars covered with PPF (Paint Protection Film) and vinyl wraps. It adds an extra protective layer on top of the film, enhances the colour and finish, and makes vehicle maintenance noticeably easier.

This ceramic coating creates a strong hydrophobic effect (beading & sheeting), delivers a deep gloss, and at the same time helps prevent dust and greasy residue from sticking to the surface. It boosts surface hardness and helps slow down the ageing of PPF/vinyl films, protecting them from everyday contaminants and environmental exposure. It is also resistant to extreme temperatures from -50°C to +150°C, ensuring stable performance all year round.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Before using Hendlex PPF&VINYL, make sure the surface is clean and completely dry by following these steps:

• Wash the vehicle thoroughly, ensuring there are no residues that could interfere with the coating application (e.g., cleaning agents, dirt residue, solvents, etc.).
• Dry the surface fully, including gaps and edges between adjacent car parts.

Note: Using HENDLEX Paint Prepare is recommended to ensure the surface is perfectly clean. 

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Hold the applicator by the base. Place the application cloth onto the soft side of the applicator and secure it into the cutouts on both sides.
• For smaller areas, it is recommended to use only the application cloth without the applicator.
• Open the bottle and fully wet the application cloth. During the coating process, keep the cloth wet by adding an additional 5–6 drops as needed.
• Apply the coating evenly using a criss-cross motion.
• Do not use circular movements.
• Coat one panel at a time.
• Try to apply from edge to edge to avoid layering marks.
• Work in sections of approx. 1×1 m.
• If the temperature is above +24°C, apply to a smaller area.
• Ensure there are no missed spots.

After applying the coating, wait:

• If temperature is below +24°C: 2 minutes
• If temperature is above +24°C: 30–90 seconds
• Do not apply if temperature is above +30°C
• Buff/polish the surface with a high-quality microfiber cloth. Make sure there are no unbuffed areas left.

Recommended initial curing time:

• If temperature is above +22°C: 12 hours (initial)
• If temperature is +20°C: 24 hours (initial)

Do not wash the vehicle for at least 7 days.

Depending on ambient temperature, the coating fully hardens within 7 days.
